[ The Boring Family Out on a Sunday. ]

My mom is into buying organic foods, which is great. She also got a tip from a Jewish co-worker about kosher meats, so my brother, my mom and I hunted down a couple of delis along Main street. The first one, we barely got any attention when my mom needed help. Then the woman behind the counter said to my brother, "Is that all his hair?" in reference to me. Bah! The second store, which had a beautifully stark black-and-white sign out front, had the people in the store staring at us. I don't frequent delis, so I figured we were an oddity in there. Do black people go to delicatesants? I can't get over how they had Tofutti Soy Cream Cheese! I should've bought some, but my funds are amazingly low, despite having just been paid this past Friday. I wanted to take a picture of their sign, but to see me standing outside with my disposable camera clicking away would probably unnerve anybody, especially total strangers. I expected more adventure today, but my family is boring, as my younger brother has also uttered. The most I did was buy a cell phone card and that took several minutes too long. Garden City Shopping Centre was busy, which is rare during the rest of the year, but it's December. Had I not checked my minutes on my cellphone, I wouldn't have noticed only 25 minutes left, one dollar and five cents to spare!
Well, I have my lesbian porn to keep me occupied.
